The year... didn't really end of well, locally, after Pol-ite, then came Regatta and Sava...

The kind of feeling, when you trained so hard for it, gave all you have, followed the game plan, etc, just didn't help us work things out.

The feeling of emptiness, when we think back, actually still bothers you and give you that sourish and achy feeling.

We just have got to face the fact that we are just not up there yet, not that we are lousy, but we have got much more to improve.

We saw how competitive other Polys, Unis are, and it just simply means we have to train double hard, row double hard, fight double harder and that desire to win and to beat any teams out there have to continue burning.

Besides wanting to win more than any of them, all of us need to have the will and the heart of wanting to improve, be it to closer the gap between us, or to improve ourselves, individually, both physically and mentally.

Most of us still have a year or more, and there are still chances for us to get it back. Though there may be a slight difference in terms of the people rowing, But we always remember, we row for every single one of our teammates on the boat, for Qinmei, for joan, for peixuan. We get it back together for them.

Most importantly, we need to bite on and hold on really close to one another, we push one another and move ahead together.

Because, THIS is what we have.

With effect from this coming saturday(25th Jul'09), absence for sea training without informing prior the night before will be considered as overslept and , a punishment fine of $2.00 will be charged, proceeds will be forwarded to team fund. Ans subsequent 'late-coming' , the fine will increase by a dollar ($2.. $3.. $4.. etc)
For latecoming, A dollar will be charged , for the first three times , followed by a dollar increase starting from the fourth; for the next three times ($1, $1, $1, $2, $2, $2, $3, $3, $3,)
Also there will be a penalty of 30 pull-ups(-subjected to change)

Hello girls! :)

Tisa here. This will be my first and last post over here. I've been looking and searching for the right time to type all these and all, but i don't know when is the right time. So here goes. Anyway, it is high time i say goodbye to you guys properly also right. :)

These years and times with you guys have been so memorable and i don't want to leave because i am afraid that i would lose contact with you all and that is terrible okay. So hint, hint! Ask me out ah you all! :D Don't let our f'ship just drift like that.

There is really so, so much that i want to say to you all. Haha. I know i sound a bit stupid and kiddy, but hey, you all know how i am yup.

Being you guys' senior was a joy. Much as i shouted and screamed at you all, i also had a lot of fond and good memories imprinted on my mind. Until today, i am still very proud to say i am from nyp db, girls' team. :)

Because i have kept believing in you all from the start, i will always be here for you guys, if you all ever need me. My hp, msn, facebook, email or whichever yup. I really wish you guys all the best for this upcoming race and i do hope to see you guys win. :) &I will try my best to pop by trainings still, but no guarantees.

Hey Girls,
The WSC Camp date is set to be on 15, 16 and 17 December 2008, Monday to Wednesday, during the Mid- Semester break.

Erm currently already got 6 people cannot go due to various reasons liao. I sincerely hope the rest of you all can attend. I hope one group can have two or three dragon boat girls so that you all won’t feel weird and the feeling of being alone in a group is really bad as I am having it now. As I am the only dragon boat girl in the WSC Junior committee, sometimes I really felt awkward to be within the discussion group which is mostly guys and I am super duper inactive and I have no one to talk to. Anyway, this is unimportant. The important part is I really hope you all can play actively and enjoy yourself throughout the camp rather than being alone in the group and gloomy all day long.

Anyway, please remember to bring $10 tml or next training for the camp tee leh. By next Wednesday, 12 Nov, I need to hand in the campers particulars all these liao.

I would really be appreciative if you all can participate in the camp de. Really…

And lastly, Regatta is coming in 2 weeks time and we have only 3 sea training left. We really have to treasure the remaining training days. And it is real fast. Last year, the whole year, I don’t get to go down for any race and don’t even have a chance to fight for any seat. But this year is different. Everyone of us are training real hard. Some of us may get down to race in the girls boat, some may not. Please don’ feel disheartened. We still have one/two years to improve on our rowing skills, power, running, etc. As for the year three, Tisa, Cherlin and Kwang Li, they have been training hard with commitment. So whoever going down to race, be it for them, for yourself, for coach or for the school, we don’t get disappointed and regret okay…we give all out for every set okay??? Also do take care of yourself leh…don’t fall sick when nearing Regatta ar…

Nadia ask me to put this up in this blog... anyway the issue is about 100 plus... if anyone has forgotten to buy 100 plus, the "punishment " is to wash all team mates life vest and paddles for that day...hehe.. so remember to buy ar... she also say 100 plus patner can also help out... and if u have forgotten to buy 100 plus but another team mates who is not their turn yet has bought it, fret not... juz return her the money and u dun have to wash life vest and paddles liao...

For 5 men crew, the time to reach sch if u are takin sch bus is 7.15am and if u are goin kallang by urself is 8am reach kallang...

For Austcham 10km,there would be no transport, u have to reach kallang by 12pm urself...
